Our Care
At Woodcroft Care Home we aim to provide a high-quality service which enhances the health and social needs not only to those who live with us permanently, but also those elderly living within our community area of Colwyn Bay.
The Needs We Can Support
At Woodcroft, the majority of our Residents come into the home with a form of Dementia. We offer care to both male and female persons over the age of 65, and are able to provide all personal and social care required.
Complex Needs
However, we also accommodate Residents with complex care needs and challenging cognitive issues.
Over time, Residents can develop further physical and mental health needs. We continually review and monitor these developments to ensure that extra care from various community services are sought when required.
Palliative Care
We are able to offer end of life and palliative care should relatives and the Resident request them. This service is offered in conjunction with support from MacMillan Nurses, Marie Curie Nurses and the District Nurses. Religious beliefs, DNACPR and Living Wills together with the Resident’s final wishes are of paramount importance to us and are integrated into the service we offer.
As this service is a one-to-one provision, extra staff are scheduled to ensure the Resident has the priority required at this time and that normal provision to other Residents is not disrupted.
