Age UK is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to helping everyone make the most of later life. They provide essential services, expert advice and companionship to millions of older people.
Age Cymru work specifically in Wales. Until March 2027 they have a government-funded Dementia Advocacy Service designed to ensure people with a diagnosis of dementia can access the services and support they need and have a voice in decisions that are being made.

Dementia UK are a specialist nursing charity that provide free, life-changing support, guidance and practical advice to families affected by all forms of dementia. They are the only UK-wide charity dedicated entirely to dementia nursing.
Conwy County Borough Council are our local authority responsible for assessing social care needs, commissioning residential and nursing care, and providing community support for residents with dementia. They operate their own care facilities and allocate funding for specialist dementia care like the services we provide at Woodcroft Care Home.
